When Morgan headed to Ogden to play Ben Lomond last week, Ben Lomond was 0-7 and Morgan with their 6-2 record was ready to work on all aspects of their game. Morgan has looked great at times during the season and not so great at other times. In this game, Morgan looked superb on both sides of the ball. The first score for came at the 10:02 mark. Randon Prochnow ran a 34-yard run for a touchdown followed with a point after kick by Chase Peterson. Then only a half a minute later, Ben Lomond made a 55 pass for a touchdown pass to Malcolm Simpson. After a point after kick by Ben Lomond ‘s Zach Boden, the Scotts were to not score again in the game, and Morgan started scoring, and scoring and scoring. The next score was Prochnow again on a 3-yard run with a Peterson PAT good. Next in the second quarter, Lawson Toomer had a 3-yard run with Peterson ‘s PAT good again. Next up was Morgan ‘s quarterback Colby Skinner passing a 68-yard pass to Randon Prochnow once again, with the Peterson PAT good again. Still in the second quarter, Skinner threw a 14-yard pass to Boston Sauners with Peterson ‘s PAT good once again. This gave the Trojan ‘s a 35-7 lead at the half. In the third quarter, Lantzen Toomer ran an 8-yard touchdown. Then in the fourth quarter, Bridger Anderson had a 17-yard run with a Stephen Dredge PAT. The last score of the game came when Lanzen Toomer had a 100 yard interception return for a touch down and Dredge kicked the PAT making the final score 55-7. In the game, Morgan had 22 first downs and held the Scots to 10. Morgan had 339 rushing yards and the Morgan defense to 80 yards. Skinner went 4-7 in passing with 123 yards of passing for the game. Morgan finished with 462 total yards. On the defense, Morgan had six huge sacks in the game.
