The students of Mountain Green Elementary School were excited to be able to share some doughnuts with their dad’s last week. As a wrap up to the month long Dr. Seuss celebration, students invited their dad’s, grandpa’s, or mom’s to the school for a doughnut, milk, conversation, and reading. A book exchange was also offered during the activities. All during the month of February, students were encouraged to bring in gently used books to donate to the book exchange. During Dad’s and Doughnuts, all of the donated books were put out and students were able to take a few books in exchange for their donated books. Both of these activities were a huge success with many in attendance and numerous books given away.
