Morgan County Fair Royalty contest is coming up on Monday August 1,2011. This is the 100th anniversary of the Morgan County Fair, a special year indeed. Young ladies from around the county have been getting ready to compete for the chance to win one of the royalty positions. The girls are divided into groups according to age/grade in school. The judges will conduct private interviews with each contestant at 9:00am. The public is invited to attend the contest at 10:30 am at Morgan Elementary School. Each girl will present a short speech, modeling, and answer impromptu questions. The contest will then move to the Morgan County Fairgrounds at 2:00pm where the girls will compete in the horsemanship portion. The royalty winners will be announced Monday evening just prior to the Jr. Rodeo at the Morgan County Fairgrounds. Contestants for 2011 Morgan County Fair & Rodeo Queen Courtney Sanders is the 14 year old daughter of Cory and Kristy Sanders. She loves participating in 4-H. One of her goals is to become a veterinarian. Kami Call is the 19 year old daughter of Diane & Dan Dickson and Bridger and Christy Call. Kami is a registered CNA. Her goal is to become a licensed American Sign Language Interpreter. Danielle Robison is the 18 year old daughter of Steve Robison, and Lucille and Jeff Francis. Danielle’s goal is to attend Montana State University and become a wildlife biologist. Madison Bohman is the 15 year old daughter of Brent and Glenda Bohman. She participates with the Intermountain Reining Association. Madison won the 2009 Youth 13 & under Reining Reserve World Champion in the APHA. 1st Attendant Contestant Bailee Mikesell is the 13 year old daughter of Lance and Cindee Mikesell. She loves to participate in junior rodeos. Her goal is to become a veterinarian. 2nd Attendant Contestant Emily Vigoren is the 11 year old daughter of Rob and Janice Vigoren. She likes to practice rodeo events. Her goals are to own her own ranch and learn to shoe horses. Jacie House is the 8 year old daughter of Brian and Stacie House. She likes to work with her show steer and lambs. Jacie stays very busy participating in various sports. Tosha Turner is the 9 year old daughter of ShaNell and Ryan Turner. She likes Oreo shakes from Steph’s and would like to become a nurse.
