In March, Aspen MacArthur and Krista Sorensen and their families traveled to St. George, Utah, to compete in the Dixie at the Spectacular Clogging Competition. Krista won first place in advanced and Aspen won state champion in the Jr. Pro division. Both girls competed in a cappella, which is judged solely on sound. In April, they competed in Salt Lake City at the Utah State Clogging Competition. Krista won first place in championship elementary and Aspen won the title of Utah State Champion in the Jr. Pro age division. At the beginning of May, Krista won first place in the champ division at the Rocky Mountain competition held at Lagoon. The next week, Kori Sorensen joined the girls and won first place in the Sr. Pro division, Aspen won first place in the Jr. Pro division and Krista won first place in the Advanced Elementary division. Aspen and Kori competed with their a cappella duet in the Pro Sr. division. They were excited to win first place. They were also chosen to be one of seven duets in the finals for MVP in the largest clogging competition in the United States. Krista was excited to be named one of the few chosen for the Jr. All-American team. Aspen and Kori were chosen to be on the All-American team. All the staff and students from Morgan Academy of Dance and Tumbling were so excited for their girls.
