Many young lives in our county have been changed through participation in 4-H. From swine to sewing, robots to rabbits, many kids and teens have developed skills and character traits through the 100-year-old organization. This growth didn’t happen on its own. It took hours and hours of dedication from various 4-H volunteers.
Now is the time to recognize all of that effort. Nominate someone who has made a difference in our community through volunteering with 4-H. There are awards for new volunteers, as well as those who have been part of the organization for decades.
Anyone can nominate regardless of connection with 4-H, so if you know of someone who deserves to be recognized for their 4-H involvement, please pick up a nomination form at the Extension Office, located in the courthouse, or you can print a form from our website http://extension.usu.edu/morgan/. Nominations are due in the Morgan County Extension office by Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016.
Awardees will be recognized in one of the following areas at the annual 4-H Achievement Night on Oct. 6, 2016.
