Karl Reeder was born in Ogden, Utah, to Jess and Lavene Reeder. He is the fourth of eight children. He has two sisters and three brothers. His family did not have a lot of money growing up, but they were rich in love and devotion to each other.
Karl graduated from Bonneville High School. He was a member of the band, pep band and choir. Upon graduation, he served in the Utah Air National Guard and attended a tech school, where he learned computer science and cable splicing. Karl then went to work at Mountain Bell. He has also worked for US West and Quest as a line man, cable and fiber optics splicer, and a cable repairman. Karl came to work at Morgan School District as a bus driver in 2001.
Karl enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, fixing cars and trucks and building things. He is a Jack of All Trades, he even makes homemade rockets and the rocket fuel. He is married to his wife, Pamela, and they have eight children – three boys and five girls. He is also the grandpa to three grandchildren – one girl and two boys.
Something that nobody knows about Karl is that he graduated from high school at the age of 17. He served an LDS mission to the Great Lakes Mission, which included Michigan, Indiana, and Toledo, Ohio.
