2012 Sterling Scholars - McKinsey Ferrell~Computer Tech.

McKinsey Ferrell, daughter of Robert and Lori Ferrell, was chosen as Morgan High School’s 2011-2012 Computer Technology Sterling Scholar! Kinsey has designed three different companies’ websites and currently designs the monthly newsletter for the company Inspire Us NOW. 

She has also put together numerous movies and slide shows for school assemblies and the like. At the high school, Kinsey is involved in FBLA, FCCLA, the Altitude Club, the Morgan Youth Service Interact Club, the Debate team, Drama Club, and the Ovation! Choir. 

Being an awesome leader, she currently serves as an NHS President and a choir officer at Morgan High, and also had the opportunity to serve as the Sophomore Class Vice President and Mock Trial Team secretary at the Legacy Leadership Academy. Kinsey’s favorite experiences in high school were being a part of the school musical Beauty & the Beast and participating in the UMEA All-State and Honor Choirs. Her most memorable service experience was when she had the opportunity to leave the country on a humanitarian trip to Mali, Africa her junior year of high school. 

She was privileged to visit orphanages, build schools, serve as a dental assistant to the clinic there, and help with dental care. Outside of her high school activities Kinsey enjoys singing, playing the piano, eating tasty food, reading, and traveling. 

She plans to attend Brigham Young University this fall where she will major in Graphic Design.
