Anniversary - Doug and Bonnie Wright

Doug and Bonnie Wright of Mountain Green celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.  Their children honored them with a dinner at Ruth Chris restaurant.  A celebration is planned in their honor June 1; the family will take a cruise to Alaska. 
They were married on Feb. 27, 1964, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake temple.
Bonnie was born in Pocatello, Idaho.  She graduated from East High School and attended Brigham Young University.  She was employed by Browning Arms and also worked for her husband.  She loves travel, movies, reading and most of all, doing family activities.
Doug was born in Salt Lake City.  He graduated from East High School and attended BYU.  He worked for Thiokol for 25 years before starting his own business, TSI Plastic Molding.  He still works part time at the Ogden Weber Tech College as a composite instructor.  He likes fishing and just being in the outdoors.
The couple has three children, Sondra (Bernie) Carter of Morgan, Traci (Dave) Palmer of Kaysville and Brett (Erica) Wright of West Haven.  They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
