There are not many things that can get kids out of bed early over Christmas vacation, but plenty of kids showed up to celebrate the first anniversary of the brand new Morgan Health Center.
Clinic staff showed up bright and early, braving the cold to make celebratory pancakes, eggs and bacon. Practice Manager, Ryan Tripp manned the pancake station, serving up flapjacks while getting to know each person that came through his line. Market manager Chris Payne was opposite Tripp offering patrons eggs and bacon.
An Eden resident, Kent Swanson stopped by early in the morning and offered his delicious Flapjack Drizzle to compliment the pancakes. Swanson’s wife Jeanette grew up in Morgan and was happy to support the event. Their daughter, Kayla Wilson lives in Morgan with her husband Brock. They hope to sell the confection at the Old Farm Market soon, but until then you can email Swanson at firstname.lastname@example.org
Tripp and Payne had a great time interacting with all the residents who came out in spite of the brisk weather to enjoy breakfast together. It was so much fun for them, the pair said that they want to make this an annual event.
“This was a great way to celebrate a year of success and get ‘warmed up’ for another one,” said Tripp.
The clinic is still looking for entries in their Morgan valley photo contest. The deadline is January 31, so get your entries in quick for a chance to be featured on the walls of the health center for years to come. Send entries and inquiries to email@example.com.
