The holidays are here. Snow, hot chocolate, family gatherings near and far, and music!
The Morgan Community Choir is presenting the 15th Annual Christmas concert on Monday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
Remember that at this concert there is sometimes a very special guest who comes running in -- he wears red -- so be sure to invite family, friends and children. This year’s concert includes many old favorites and some newer sacred holiday songs. The choir was founded in 1999 by director Lois Manning and Suzanne Carrigan. Accompanist is Aimee Ferrin. Choir members come from all over Morgan County.
And please come early. This year there will be new friends with the choir, the Morgan Valley Chamber Orchestra, who will be playing before the choir concert. Abby Beattie of Mountain Green conducts the orchestra, which has members from all over Morgan County and includes students and adults.
The concert is free and open for friends, family and all our community. What a holiday tradition for the community, to enjoy good music performed by good neighbors and friends.
Happy Holidays from the Morgan Community Choir!
