June 21 marked the official grand opening of TRAX PowerSports on Morgan’s main thoroughfare. TRAX employees Enoch Cronk and Eden Farnsworth said they were pleased with the turnout.
“It has been great seeing so many people come through today,” said Farnsworth, a Park City native. In 2008 her family moved to Morgan. She graduated from Morgan High in 2011 with multiple academic scholarships. Farnsworth attended Dixie State University for a period of time but ultimately decided to return home and pursue a career in dental assisting.
As her responsibilities in the dental field grew to front office tasks, she decided to make the transition to a full-time front office job. When the opportunity arose for an office manager position at TRAX, she applied without hesitation. Her bubbly personality makes her a perfect fit for public relations with outdoor enthusiasts.
She and Cronk spent the day passing out rental information as well as logoed water bottles and key chains to everyone who walked through the door. They also made sure everyone who came in was registered to win prizes or free rentals.
Cronk was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and was raised in a town smaller than Morgan in Oklahoma. He grew up spending lots of time outdoors, between working on his family’s farm, working for his father’s electrical company, and hunting and fishing. He still enjoys those hobbies and goes hunting every year here in Utah.
Moving to Utah in 2007, Cronk is attended Brigham Young University pursing a degree in Chinese with a minor in business management. After returning home from his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2010, he returned to school in Provo and graduated from BYU this past April.
Cronk and his wife Emily currently live in Provo, making an hour and a half commute for him to manage the TRAX PowerSports of Morgan rental shop. But he is hoping to move closer to the Morgan area soon.
In-store drawings took place as well as Facebook contests. The lucky prize winners included: Josh Thompson - wakeboard; Holly Ackett- wakeboard; Marie Lovelady- Bear River Lodge travel bag; Skyler Jensen-Can-Am travel bag; ShaRae Strong- Can-Am helmet; and Sheri Larsen- Frank-May Ski-Doo t-Shirt.
