Independence Day opening for Family Dollar

Article Date:
5 July, 2013 (All day)

The parking lot of the new Family Dollar has been full for the last couple weeks as employees prepared for their Independence Day opening.
Temporary employees filled the store stocking the shelves with the truckloads of inventory that would arrive daily.  Corporate officials say the store will employ between eight and 10 people.
Store manager Shari Green said that employees had been working around the clock to make sure the store was in tip-top shape before their opening.
Green is no stranger to Family Dollar stores.  She joins the Morgan community after leaving her position as manager of the Clinton, Utah, location.
A grand opening event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 6, at 8 a.m.  Ribbon cutting will take place just prior to that around 7:45 a.m.  Local media, radio stations and regional media plan to attend the event.
