Former Morgan resident Melissa Wilson, daughter of Ed and Sharlene Olsen, will be sharing her newfound talent with The Morgan County News in the form of her cartoon strip, Wonders and Blunders.
Wilson was employed at Jubilee in high school and graduated from Morgan High.
“As a kid, I was always drawing, doodling and making illustrations for silly little stories I’d write. My love for drawing and skill continued into college, so I took a few art classes, all of which I enjoyed. But I came to find the kind of art I was best at was cartooning,” said Wilson.
She decided to make her own comic strip back in October of last year. “It’s been fun and interesting to find the humor in everyday life,” mused Wilson.  Wonders and Blunders currently prints every week in the Utah Statesman newspaper in Logan. “I look forward to seeing where it goes from there,” said Wilson.
“I’m excited to share my work with you Morganites,” exclaimed Wilson.  She is always open to new ideas and welcomes suggestions for future comics. You can e-mail Wilson at  “It could be something ironic or funny you experienced, witnessed or whatever pops into your head! Your idea may appear right here! Enjoy!”
