MHS Golf Finish 3rd in Region

The Morgan High School golf team finished third in the region.  The region winners were:

1st Bear River with 56 points

2nd Standsbury with 49 points

3rd Morgan with 48 points

4th Tooele with 37 points

5th Ogden with 34 points

6th Grantsville with 19 points

7th Ben Lomond with 9 points

The region medalists  were:

1st Jordan Rose (Bear River) with a 72.9 Avg.

2nd Jalen Roberts (Standsbury) with a 73.4 Avg.

3rd Bridger Layton (Bear River) with a 74.9 Avg.

4th Tyler Butler (Tooele) with a 77.7 Avg.

5th McKay Kearsley (Morgan) with a 77.9 Avg.

The Morgan team had nine players; McKay Kearsley (average 79),  Austin Johnson (average 82.5), Dylan Hendricks (average 80.3), Zac Welsh (average 83.3), Jake Miles (average 84.8), Garren Miles (average 85.1), Aaron Babbitt (average 85.1), Tanner Jensen (average 95.2), Rhett Ballantyne (average 86) and Jake Freestone (average 100).
