Morgan Grace thanks Community

Article Date:
13 December, 2013 (All day)

Morgan Grace Fellowship wants to thank the community for the outpouring of donations.  Together 103 boxes filled with toys were collected for Operation Christmas Child!
Since 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 different countries have experienced Christmas and God’s love through simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child.  The lives of children all over the world are changed as they experience the love and compassion of those who have given.  These gifts will be delivered by every means possible – boat, airplane, wagon, foot, horse and even exotic animals such as elephants and camels.
In this time of Thanksgiving, we have much to be thankful and grateful for.  It is such a blessing to be able to give in such a small way that may have a lasting impact on children around the world.
If you would like more information on Operation Christmas Child, you may visit their website at www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child.  It’s not too late….you can even join Uncle Si of Duck Dynasty, “pack a box online” and track its journey.
Special thanks go to our Mayor Jim Egbert, and to Ridley’s, Pocket Change, Family Dollar, Mountain Green Elementary and Morgan High School National Honor Society for being drop sites for this year’s Morgan County’s support of Operation Christmas Child.
