OnTimeBus to provide free services to parents

OnTimeBus today announces the release of its bus tracking web application for free to all Morgan County School District families with bus riding students. The OnTimeBus service aids parents and students by showing bus stop locations and bus positions on a live map.
OnTimeBus has released its live bus tracking application free to the public in order to help bus service changes caused by recent budget adjustments. For the past two years, the service has been available to parents as a paid monthly subscription. Providing it as a free service makes it convenient for users to view school bus stop locations and live bus positions via the website link www.ontimebus.com or through the school district website.
Justin Rees of Ride Systems says, “We saw this as an opportunity to help the community. We’re hoping the OnTimeBus service will ease a burden for the school district by allowing them to stretch their resources.  As a parent of school age kids using the bus system, I see this as a extremely helpful tool with all the new changes being made to the district transportation services.”
“We encourage all of our patrons to log on to the district web page and use this valuable service” says Morgan County School District Superintendent, Dr. Doug Jacobs. In addition to helping school kids catch the bus, it will also reduce the number of calls to the school’s transportation department and reduce man hours fielding support calls.  For bus stop locations, go to www.morgansd.org, www.ontimebus.com or send an email to support@ontimebus.com.
