Tyson Lindley, a junior at Morgan High School, recently won the Hinds Quick Stop March Madness Challenge by correctly picking Louisville to win the NCAA basketball championship and by selecting many of the early-round and final-four winners.
Tyson credits his March Madness success to “eating spaghetti and chocolate licorice” while watching college basketball games, taking mental notes and having a knack for picking streaking teams to go deep in the tourney. Tyson is the oldest of four children and enjoys playing on the JV baseball team and participating in Ovation Choir and FBLA. For his efforts, Tyson received $100 from Hinds. Further, with Tyson’s input, Tony & Wendy Jarrett, owners of Hinds, sent a donation of equal amount to the One Fund Boston, Inc. to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013.
