Retirement - Daniel Merz Glick

Article Date:
14 June, 2013 (All day)

SFC Daniel Merz Glick is retiring from the United States Army after 20 years of active duty service.
Dan joined the Army in 1993 as a Chinook helicopter crew chief.  During his career he also served as a flight engineer, flight engineer instructor and the last two and a half years he was a recruiter based out of Ogden.
Besides being stationed in various places in the states and overseas (Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Utah and Germany), Dan served deployments away from his family to Bosnia, Afghanistan, Honduras and Iraq.
Dan had planned to stay in Utah with his wife Mandy to raise their children Paiden, Gabe and Caleb and possibly one day become Mayor of Morgan.  But job opportunities are taking them back east to Huntsville, Alabama.
The Glicks plan to return to Morgan for visits with family and friends.
Thank you SFC Glick for the years of dedicated service you gave to your country.
