The Morgan County Search and Rescue Group has recently been able to upgrade their communications capability with the purchase of several new radios and a new repeater.  The group has been operating the last few years with some older style radios which have now become obsolete.
Due to recent changes with the Utah State Sheriff’s Association Mutual Aid efforts, it became “necessary to upgrade our communications capability,” said Commander George Archibeque.
We are confident that this new radio set up will help the group be more efficient as we perform various duties throughout the county.
The purchase of these radios would not have been possible without the support of several local businesses that contributed funds for the purchase.  Morgan County Search and Rescue would like to express sincere appreciate to Holcim US Inc., Browning, Ridley’s Market, 1st Bank of Morgan and Goldenwest Credit Union for their generous contributions.
