Thank You - from Morgan County Fair Kids Games

Article Date:
16 August, 2013 (All day)

On behalf of the Morgan County Fair Kids Games, we would like to give a big shout out to all those who volunteered their time and the companies that donated so generously to make the games a success this year.
By name we would like to thank Lowe’s and Home Depot for the kid’s workshop that they did on Friday and Saturday. The kids love this and they supplied everything free of charge, including their own volunteers that came all the way to Morgan to help. We appreciate their time and the fun activity that they provided to our youth.
We would also like to recognize and thank Morgan Fire, Morgan County Sheriff and Morgan Ambulance for their participation in games. The kids really liked getting wet and getting others wet with the fire hose game provided by the Fire Department, the rescue relay and other games done by the Ambulance and the hands on experience provide by Morgan County Sheriff. We appreciate the services and safety that these agencies provide to our community and would like to publicly thank all those who work and volunteer for these agencies.
What are games without prizes? Thanks to our very own Pocket Change, Ridley’s and the Parkside Bowling Alley along with Wal-Mart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Toads Fun Zone, and The Tree House Museum, we were able to supply wonderful prizes to the kids and keep our costs down. We are very appreciative of their willingness to donate so generously on our behalf.
And last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank all the volunteers of Morgan that came to our aid and helped with the games and the game counter. We would not be able to make the games as fun without your willingness to serve in your community. We thank you a hundred times over.
