Rick London and Lynne Rich were classmates in Morgan schools, they dated in high school and both graduated with the class of 1961. Rick prepared to be a missionary and Lynne went off to college at Utah State University. He returned from serving his mission in March 1965. She graduated from Utah State University, with a bachelor’s degree in Education, in June 1965. They were married in June 1966. Jokingly, Rick added “she supported me while I went to school.”

    The 2nd Annual Miss Morgan Queen Contest was held Thursday, June 10 at Graceland Equestrian Center in Morgan.     
    There were five excellent candidates competing for the title and many spectators showing support.  In the end the following were crowned: Queen – Kami Call, 1st Attendant – Danielle Robison, 2nd Attendant – Sam Peterson, Miss Congeniality – Kacie Chappell, and Horsemanship went to Dani Hammer!

Last week I attended the Federation of Genealogical Societies’ annual conference in Knoxville Tennessee.  The Federation of Genealogical Societies is an organization made up of genealogical societies (wow, redundant).

Last week I attended the Federation of Genealogical Societies’ annual conference in Knoxville Tennessee.  The Federation of Genealogical Societies is an organization made up of genealogical societies (wow, redundant).  The conference helps societies improve their services to members and better market and govern themselves.
