Our very own Morgan Stars are a part of the Special Olympics program. This year, teams from Morgan were able to participate in a heart-warming event that displayed their impressive talents on the volleyball court.

Bailey Farris named 2011 ‘Ms. Volleyball’ for the state of Utah

Morgan Trojan Bailey Farris was named Ms. Volleyball for 2011. She is humbled by this honor and is quick to recognize her coaches and teammates as helping her earn this Award.

Spiking their way to state

In a show-case match featuring two tall and talented volleyball squads, the defending 3A champs from Morgan (21-4) came from behind to defeat the reigning 5A champs from Lone Peak 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, and 27-25.

Volleyball, Tennis teams sponsor Pink Night

Morgan High Girls Volleyball and Tennis teams sponsored pink night on Oct. 14, 2011.

This was a fund raiser for cancer research. Pink Balloons, pink popcorn and other pink items were sold at the varsity football game last Thursday. The total amount raised was $1052.72.
