The Morgan County Historical Society has been working in cooperation with Adam Christensen to write and publish the History of Como Springs Resort. Adam wrote his college thesis on this topic. Adam conducted several interviews with former employees of the once popular resort. He also interviewed descendants of former owners/operators. The Historical Society will provide a large array of photographs and history dating back to when the land was purchased from the Union Pacific Railroad. As part of the history we would like to include a brief history of all the previous owners/operators. The history will include a list of as many former employees as we can possibly identify. If you ever worked at Como please send your name, your age at the time of employment and your job title at the resort. It will be amazing to see the number of individuals who worked there, especially as youth. The deadline for submitting information is September 3, 2011. This can be mailed to the Historical Society at PO Box 727, Morgan, Utah 84050. It can also be e-mailed to email@example.com. The office is open Monday through Thursday from noon until 5 PM and your information can also be dropped by the office. A program will be held in a couple of months to introduce this history to the public. The published history will be available for purchase.
