Morgan High Girls Volleyball and Tennis teams sponsored pink night on Oct. 14, 2011. This was a fund raiser for cancer research. Pink Balloons, pink popcorn and other pink items were sold at the varsity football game last Thursday. The total amount raised was $1052.72. We appreciate the student body and communities exceptional support in raising money for cancer awareness. We wish to recognize and thank all who dressed in pink; Morgan High’s drill team, cheerleaders, girl’s volleyball and tennis teams, Tooele’s volleyball team, and our outstanding student body and loyal community. Winners were announced for the most outrageously dressed in pink contest. 1st place- Kade Carrigan 2nd place- Lantzen Toomer 3rd place- Kyle Stapley Special thanks to Sheri Peterson and her outstanding committee for all their dedicated work for pink night. Thanks to everyone who participated and supported cancer awareness. Thanks to Liz Wiscombe and her excellent coaching staff; Stephanie Stuart, Julia Fisher, and Vicki Walker, for their vision in uniting Morgan High School for raising funds for this cause.
