Robert N. Hartman of Morgan, Utah, recently celebrated his 80th birthday. Born February 17, 1934, he grew up in Ogden, a son of Alfred and Winona Hartman. He moved to Morgan where he hunted, fished, raised cattle and enjoyed his early life. He worked at Hill Air Force Base for 38 _ years. He started his career as a machinist and worked his way through many positions, retiring as a scheduling supervisor. Bob has been a member of the Morgan Search and Rescue for 55 years. He served in the Morgan Lions Club for about 26 years, and he is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bob loves spending time in the Uintah mountains during the summer and Yuma, Ariz., in the winter. He loves to trap shoot and does whenever he can. He also continues to hunt and fish. He is married to Nancy Vance of Smithfield. He enjoys being with the kids and grandkids. Their children are Danille (Bill) Weaver, Kurt (Paige) Porter, Nanette (William) West and Sharalyn Cooper. They have 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. An open house will be held on April 26 at the Search and Rescue building, 1010 Rifle Range Rd. in Morgan from 2-4 p.m. Come and help us celebrate. No presents please; your presence is his gift.
