Discovery day announced for Morgan Family History Center

Do you want to learn more about your ancestors?  Would you like to try your hand at indexing?  How about finding an obituary for a deceased Morgan resident?  Are you interested in finding out how Family Search works or getting started with writing yours or an ancestor’s history?  What about the art of searching records or finding family names needing to have temple work completed?

The answers to these and many other questions can be found at the Morgan Family History Center.  It matters not whether you are a novice or an expert, there is something for everyone of every skill level who is interested in family history work.

On Saturday Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., the folks at the Family History Center will be providing a Family History Discovery day.

Classes and activities will take place every 20 minutes, and you may choose the ones you wish to participate in.  There will be hot dogs for lunch.  Bring the family and “discover” the Morgan Family History Center.

The center has folks on staff who are willing and able to help you find the answers to your personal questions, or they can be there just as a support if you are practicing a new skill.

Regular center hours are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; and Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 -9 p.m.

Special group arrangements or appointments can be made by calling Les Adams at 801-710-0142.
