Randall Black Burns passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, surrounded by his family due to complications from cancer.
Randall “Randy” Black Burns was born in Archer, Idaho, on Sept. 4, 1937, to Lawrence Earl Burns and Velma Black Burns. He spent his boyhood in Archer, Idaho. As a young man he moved to Bellflower, Calif., and that is where he met his lifelong sweetheart, Bonnie Jean Bond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawerence and Velma, his brother Bob Burns, son Craig Burns and his great grandson Jackson Burns. He is survived by his siblings: Larry (Sue) Burns, Brenda (Don) Wadley; by his spouse, Bonnie; and by his children: Shari (Todd) Allen, Suzanne (Brian) Wallace, Michelle (Troy) Busenbark, and Julie (Jimmy) Lane. He has 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 at the Westmond Cemetery.
