School District officials announced this month that the Trojan Century Center first became financially self-sufficient in fiscal year 2017. “It was almost there in 2016, and in 2017, it was,” District Business Administrator D’Lynn Poll said Dec. 5. This means that the revenue from renting the building paid for both operating and supervision expenses. This does not include the original building cost or equipment charges, such as a new carpet-cleaning machine that came from capital funds.
