Annette Peterson Retires After 44 Years with Kier Property Management


Annette Peterson, Chief Operating Officer is retiring from Kier Property Management. Annette Peterson first applied for a job advertised as “Girl Friday,” 44 years ago, and is retiring this week. Hers has been the longest run of any employee, which is saying something in a company known for its lifetime relationships. She has been involved in the development and management of approximately 3,000 units of multifamily properties in six states. She was instrumental in opening a branch office in Colorado that served 18 multifamily properties in the state. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and 504 Coordinator of Kier Property Management and supervises management of 30 multifamily and commercial properties. 

She served as president of the eight state regional board of the Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA), and currently serves in the position of past president. She served on the Weber County Fair Housing Issues Committee, Utah Apartment Association Board, and the Weber County Homeless Coordinating Council. Designations include the National Council of Multifamily Housing, Registered Apartment Manager (RAM), National Affordable Housing Management Association, Professional Executive (NAHP-e), certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), and Fair Housing Compliance (FHC). She is also a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Utah. 

During her 44 years at Kier, she and her husband Brad successfully raised a family of five wonderful kids and have enjoyed welcoming 12 precious grandchildren into their family! She will truly be missed by her co-workers, who wish her nothing but happiness in her new adventures!
