Amanda Chaney was born in Parma, Idaho. She grew up on a 600 cow dairy farm. She has one older brother. When she wasn’t milking cows, she was either in the basketball gym or hunting. This is what instilled her 3 biggest passions in life – agriculture, sports, and hunting.
Amanda graduated from Parma High School. She was a member of the FFA, Basketball, and Tennis teams as well as on the National Honor Society. She graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education. Upon graduating 3 years ago, she came to work at Morgan High School as the Ag Teacher and FFA Advisor.
Amanda enjoys athletics, hunting, camping, and fishing. Something that nobody knows about Amanda is that she is a three-time state tennis champion in high school.
Amanda loves spending time with her family. She is always putting others first. She will do anything she can to help students succeed in and out of the classroom. She is a great asset to the Morgan School District as well as the CTE Department. She is willing to accept any assignment that is given to her. We recognize her for her hard work and dedication. We will miss her!
