Joan F. Pace will celebrate her 80th birthday on November 11th. Born to Maxine and Joseph Foster in Henefer, Utah, Joan married her North Summit High School sweetheart, H. Dean Pace of Wanship, Utah, on September 6, 1957, in the Salt Lake Temple. This year, they are celebrating over 61 years of marriage.
Joan has devoted her entire life to her three sons, Rick, Rod, and Ryan, their respective spouses, and her husband Dean. She also has five grandchildren—two of whom are on church missions—and one great grandchild. Joan has followed MHS marching bands, cleaned uniforms, assisted with high school musicals, attended many concerts and recitals, rented musical instruments, welcomed hundreds of piano students to her home, and lovingly cared for her parents and her in-laws. She has served as First Lady of Morgan City and in ward Relief Society and Primary presidencies of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Joan and Dean now live in St. George but will always call Morgan home. Grateful as we are to her for being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law, and for her unmeasurable love to all, we wish her the happiest of birthdays. All are welcome to send birthday wishes to her at P.O. Box 2795, St. George, UT 84771, or email@example.com.
